WELCOME TO IT'S YOGA!
- All It's Yoga classes are for everybody & all levels of practitioners -
Larry Schultz created "The Rocket®" routines, a series of postures based on a modification of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga primary and intermediate series. The perfect marriage of tempo and sequence. With plenty of ways to modify the classical poses, The Rocket® is designed to wake up the nervous system and feed it the precious prana it craves while promoting a spirit of change and freedom in the practice.
Please notice that our minimum group for guided class is two yogis, unless the class is "Follow the Yogi" / min. group for pre-booking classes: three person signed up by 12:00 o'clock.
The Rocket® is about FREEDOM
MPS = Modification of The Primary Series
of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga (60min)
"A Great INTRO to all It’s Yoga Classes"
This class is a good start for your own yoga practice, but also class to come back regularly. It moves slower with more detail on alignment. The first part of class will warm-up with Sun Salutations. The standing series promotes balance and symmetry in the body and tones up the process of detoxification and strength. The final part of class is a deeper focus on seated postures with the intention of keeping poses modified and accessible to each student’s individual level. A seated meditation will conclude the practice with deep relaxation in Savasana. The MPS class introduces the practitioners to the breathing and movement techniques used specifically in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
THE ROCKET® 1
"You are stronger than you think you are" (75-90min)
The Rocket® 1 will focus on strengthening the legs, shoulders and abdominals. Be ready to move a bit faster and get a lot stronger. The Rocket® 1 Routine integrates postures from the first and second series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Routine is practiced Mondays and Thursdays at It’s Yoga Centers.
THE ROCKET® 2
"Quiet the thinking mind - Wake up the feeling body"
The Rocket® 2 is a "Feel good" class – including variations of poses from the second and third series of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. The Rocket® 2 focuses on strength poses, arm balances, backbends and hip openers. Modifications will be offered and encouraged as we build the practice from ground to up. This routine is practiced Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the It’s Yoga System.
THE ROCKET® 3
"Happy Hour - Watch poses appearing and disappearing"
This class is called the Happy Hour class or "The Rocket®" 3 at all It’s Yoga Centers. It’s when we come together to celebrate the week. Includes all the poses of It’s Yoga System – 90 poses in 90 minutes. This class is a fusion of Rocket® 1 and 2. It is accessible to all levels and opportunity for those who want a challenge in their practice. The Rocket® 3 is a high-energy class that leaves the body charged with life force, prana. A perfect way to start the weekend. It's practiced on Fridays in the It’s Yoga System & at all It's Yoga studios worldwide.
We Are All in This Together
At all It’s Yoga Studios worldwide we honor each student’s potential and trust that the practice will support each individual in growing at the pace that best serves them. It’s Yoga was the first to develop a progressive practice designed for Western Practicitioners out of the much loved and admired Eastern Ashtanga Yoga practice.
It’s Yoga dissolved the heirarchy of postures and invites beginners and advanced practitioners to practice in the same room heightening the energy and inspiration in the class. One student may be advanced in one posture, and beginner in the next pose. When the breath opens up the practice, the forms and levels of the poses shifts and opens for the function, and we all: the poses and the practitioners - we become equal. We have plenty of modifications for all of the postures and we fully invite everyone to participate and enjoy them in this beautiful yoga (Sanskrit word for "Union") practice called: "The Rocket®"
It's Yoga Yin & Restorative classes
Each Rocket® class includes Yin - elements of cooling down the energy. In It's Yoga YIN classes we restore and move slowly, using the bolsters and breath to fully open to what is. Meditation time is for simple awareness & observation, as we are opening the doors for practice meditation in a calm and supportive environment. Yin Yoga we practice and teach is based on Myofascial meridian lines.
Follow The Yogi - A Silent Yoga practice
Tuesday & Thursday morning at the studio at 9:00 / Beach class Wednesday at 9:30
We will all be following one practitioner in a room. This method give us an opportunity to hear and listen the REAL teacher (Yoga) that is within each and everyone of us. Together we breathe, we move and we meditate - Namasté
